Default SS Officer’s BROCADE BELT & BELT BUCKLE.

My late father in law was in the US Army Intel Group during ww2. We have found a number of Third Reich items in a footlocker in the attic. One is this belt & buckle. Sorry the pictures are not that great. I’m not home & had to use my cell. Any information and confirmation of this belt & buckle is greatly appreciated. Click image for larger version.

Looks OK but a srright on shot of the back of the buckle would be helpful.

It's in remarkably good condition. Possibly the star of the attic footlocker finds.

    Amazing find!!

That buckle is awesome, but the belt, man, that is just beautiful!

    Thanks' for posting the photos.

I don't know enough about this item to authenticate it for you. But under the circumstances of your back story, I'm willing to bet that this is the real deal.

Congratulations on such a great find!

    Take care

Looking at this on my phone I am not sure why Marcus would believe it is a cast fake. What am I missing?
