Default Order Of The Red Star Repair?

I just bought this ORS for a good price. Though I noticed the serial range dates it to around 1945, but the problem is that the bayonet on the soldiers rife is pointing under the "O" which would date it way later, at least late 60's or older. Could it have been repaired at some time, the rest of the order looks good. Any help would be great. Thanks.

It does look like something has been done on the right side due to the slight damage. Pity, but if the price was right....

    Cheers, Ade.

Do you think the medal was worn down from the vet cleaning it and he had it replaced at some point. I just hope it wasent done by collector.

I think that the medal has been altered as well, but I would still give it a loving home.
