This is my other pick up, the detail on this one isn't as great, also I notice some differences and the serial number has odd numbers in it ? any help much appreciated

Nothing wrong with this one. Some of the serial numbers in this range have odd-looking digits.

I agree with Bill. Had it been an eight, the engraving style would have looked differently, or the order would have had a concave reverse.

Hello Adrian, thanks for the link, and yes Auke has researched this one for me. I am getting it translated ( a girl I know speaks Russian, but im in her bad books at the moment long story lol) So far I know he was a senior sergeant and a few other personal details.

Ill be sure to post my findings.
