A nice heavily worn Red Star in my opinion.
-
Hello,
Good one, no problem !
-
I concur, an authentic Order of the Red Star, Moscow Mint, 1945 awarding, possible field worn damage and worthy of further research.
-
Thanks a lot gentlemen, your opinions are much appreciated! Glad my own opinion is confirmed by the experts here!

Yes, that's a reasonable assumption.
-
This batch of Red Stars was issued by Moscow mint in December 1945. The actual hand out happened likely in 1946.
So it could also be for the Far East campaign.

Nice addition Marcel
