Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
On 1st September, 1943 Perelygin received the order to provide communications to the 3/130 Guards Artillery Regiment Observation Post (OP) and despite the fact that the majority of occasions he was forced to low crawl under enemy machinegun, rifle, and mortar fire, communications were delivered on time and subsequently Perelygin quickly ran along communications lines and despite artillery fire, quickly restored broken lines. After an air raid Perelygyn repaired as many as 30 broken lines under enemy fire, thus permitting the Command to reinforce the battalion.
Guards Private Perelygin is dedicated to the Lenin-Stalin Party.

Thank you, gentlemen, I am planning on extracting the citations and award lists for his other listed awards, i.e. Orders of Glory in 2nd and 3rd Class, as well as his Order of the Patriotic War in 2nd Class. He was indeed a highly decorated NCO.
I plan on doing the same with some of mine, when I have time over the winter months.
