Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:

Comrade Tsup has been serving at the front during the Patriotic War since August 1943. Repeatedly participating in the fighting with the German invaders, he showed his dedication to the motherland.

During the preparation period for the October offensive and during the offensive itself, assistant sapper platoon leader Tsup under enemy fire organized the uninterrupted activities of his unit, equipping the command post and observation post of the corps command.

While equipping the command posts near the village of Pogornevo and height 165.8, the enemy shelling was heavy to such an extent, that there didn't seem to be a possibility of continuing the activities. Nevertheless comrade Tsup and his group didn't abandon their positions. By personal example he inspired his men to display courage, which enabled the task assigned to them to be accomplished in time.

In combat with the German invaders comrade Tsup was wounded twice.

He deserves to be awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class.
