Welcome to the forum! None of us are truly experts, just some with more experience than others, but I digress.

Agreed, the pictures are not that good, nevertheless your Order of the Red Star appears genuine. It does not appear the screw-plate is original to the piece, & the condition of the enamel, whether replaced or simply weathered and worn, is difficult to ascertain. The reverse appears to have been polished. Please compare with Order of the Red Star, #117612, Aviation Engineer, Voronezh Front.

    Hello,
By these pictures looks genuine. But I have a feeling that the enamel has been replaced on all 5 rays. Also the reverse has been vigorously polished. As Russian saying goes: "scrubbed with a brick".

We would really need better pictures. It could be that the enamel has been replaced and the reverse polished, it could also just be the lighting.
