Original "Deumer" Fliegerschützenabzeichen in zinc. To bad that it have a denazification.
Regards
Joe
An original badge no doubt and as Joe says, a shame about the denazification but at least whoever did it made an effort to make it tidy by shaping the bottom of the wreath.
Here's my badge for comparison:
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Very thanks Adrian and Kradmelder, i agree with you
Hi gents,
after many, many years of collecting TR awards i have no problem with de-nazified pieces.
To me they are awards that were worn by the recipient during and after the war with pride, probably during postwar service or.prior to 1957,at Kameradschaft reunions.
If they come with provenance from the recipient, even better.
Sure,it is always nice to have complete period originals but i am now of the opinion that it is not "a shame" to buy a de-nazified original.
I have a nice de-nazified Juncker HK in my collection,i really like it and i think it came from a former Atlantis crewman, more research needed here on my behalf.
I have to admit that i would rather have a worn de-nazified piece in my colllection that came with provenance from a known reipient than a minty unissued piece anyday.
Just my opinion guys.
Regards,Martin.
I have also nothing against the denazification badges. It is still a nice badge.

Joe
