Hey guys I was told to put this in a new thread from a moderator. So could you guys help me authenticate this observer badge for my friend doggert dog.

Hi Ryan

I am not very familiar with the Beobachterabzeichen,but imo the badge is original.It is a late war zinc badge,from Meybauer,with the typical set-up for this variant.The rivets looks also good imo.But wait for more opinions,to feel more comfortable.

I am also of the opinion that the badge is good. It looks a match for a late war Meybauer in zinc. The rivets and maker mark both check out favourably and the reverse set up is also looking good.
Better photos would help of course as well as some additional ones of the hinge and catch from the side.
