Kreta Medal info requested

I bought this medal the other day as original, now I see a guy on ebay has 6 of them for $15! I was wondering if this is an actual TR issued item, or a fantasy item? How do you tell the originals from the fakes? Obviously the guy on ebay is selling fakes. Thanks!

The concensus on these is that they are post war commemorative peices.

Does that mean that ALL the ones on ebay for $15- $20 are genuine? That is all they are worth? Or have they counterfeited them, too?

The problem is, these are all modern items. Clearly some seem better made than others. The chances are someone has made some.

Personally I think $15 is all they are worth.

Thanks for the info! I wonder how you tell the REAL 1980's medals from the repros? Maybe they were made with the same dies, so NOBODY can tell the diff!
