possibly a "Petz & Lorenz" from Unterreichenbach. I don't think its a Deschler,it lacks certain traits. Pity about the black wearing off, but it is a good one
P&L have "granulated" backing more stronger than Deschler, but it really is difficult to nail the maker down
Cheers

When 'arf of your bullets fly wide in the ditch,
Don't call your Martini a cross-eyed old bitch;
She's human as you are you treat her as sich,
An' she'll fight for the young British soldier
When you're wounded and left of Afghanistan's plains,
An' the women come out to cut up what remains,
Jest roll to your rifle an' blow out your brains,
An' go to your Gawd like a soldier." - Rudyard Kipling
Thanks John,i didn't think it was A Deschler & being only two makers it had to be the other one. You're right about the finish being worn,but it's not quite as worn as my pics make it. Many thanks Stewy.
