Another recent purchase, somewhat more robust than the last one...: A Kriegsteilnehmer cross made into a paperweight by affixing it to a square piece of black marble.

(Personally, I think this was done in the period, but I cannot completely rule out that somebody got creative post-war. I like it anyway):

That's an interesting and unusual addition to your collection of Ehrenkreuz! I like it alot and it certainly has the look of a period made piece.

Here are two rather neat examples for combinations of 15 mm miniatures for civilian wear.

The first is a Prussian non-combatant's ribbon bar with attached miniature pendants representing, from left to right: the Rote-Kreuz-Medaille III. Klasse, the Verdienstkreuz für Kriegshilfe and the Kriegsteilnehmer cross.





Typically worn with formal dress, the second one is a medal chain (Ordenskettchen) for a Saxon combat veteran NCO. The medals are, from left to right, the Frontkämpfer cross, Friedrich-August-Medaille in Silber, Militär-St.-Heinrichs-Medaille in Silber and the 1914 EK2.

The last few weeks have been good... A few more ribbon bars, all done in the "Bavarian fold".

First, one example each for the Kriegsteilnehmer and the Frontkämpfer cross:




Second, two examples of the Kriegsteilnehmer cross in combination with a "Flower War Medal"; on top it's the Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938 (the Sudetenland Anschluss), on bottom the Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 13. März 1938 (the Austrian Anschluss):
