    It looks quite a modern piece Max. Not sure what you mean by "when to whom stood out?"? Do you mean who would have been awarded these pieces?

    Max, indeed a 1957 version of the Navel combat clasp, the WW2 award is a rare, see here for its details and description.... War Badges of the Kriegsmarine , yours looks to be as Adrian states, a late production piece (1970's) by St u L , check the hinge assembly is it closed or open....in other words, is the folded part of the hinge block, where it is attached to the award, filled in or has it been left "open" ? this will help age the piece, they left the block open after 1968. Still a nice 57er award ! Here is a senior Bundeswehr Marine Officer wearing his.....

    Max...as a late production piece, I would pay 40 euros, or there abouts......
