Re the thread on Afrikakorps cufftitles, would appreciate any comment on this one please.

Most people think this type is postwar made, possibly for veterans or a fantasy type. There is one shown in the Kurtz Afrikakorps book, though no images exist of one in use. Most books of this sort have some copies in them and this seems to be the case with this type.

These were never authorised to be made in a bullion version. Perhaps a few non regulation items did get made up? But it is impossible to say if this is wartime or not. Personally I would stick to buying the regulation issue version.
