    Hello Gent's.
i thought i would post what few badges i have.
this is an fairly early heavy badge in nickle. second pattern eagle. it has a nice stamped in A logo. one of a number of way's Assman marked their badges, if at all. also just a sample of accepted Assman logo's. the two on the right are stamped in.

Hi Andrew, I think this design is one of the very best of all the Luftwaffe qualification badges. I think it even surpasses the pilots badge. I always wanted one after first seeing one the best part of 40 years ago now! I still don't have one much to my regret.

    Cheers, Ade.

Andrew, a real stunner. I searched around a bit and it does seem good, but as you know, I only own fake badges so have little experience. I found a link showing one in wear by good old Sepp...

These things are quite dear, as in pricey.

Some that seem close. Better pics of your rivets would be good.

    This mark seems raised:

    Hi drdata,
thanks for taking a look. i lookd at the links , and i'm seeing a stamped in logo like mine. i can try to get petter pic's of the rivits. but they are nicely done. that first link was good refference. shows 1st and second pattern eagles on 1st and 3rd pattern wreaths. and an assman and juncker mix. the more i see, the more i'm convinced parts were shared. badge on that one shows a stamped A to my eyes.
i have collected a bunch of pictures on the different Assman markings, and i doubt i have them all.
perhaps a thread on individual makers would be good.

i added a few other pic's i had found to show the difference in a stamped in ( insized ) and the raised A.
