Article about: This is a medal that, as far as I know is for the soldiers from the Sudetenland in the Czech region that joined the battle against Russia. The date for operation Barbarossa "22 VI 1941&

    Hi, I asked my friend who will try to find out; as soon as I know anything will let you know.
    Finally got some pictures taken. Do you think it has some silver content, looking at the patina?

    Possibly light silver plating, but looks like there might be
    varnish or shellac coating.........

    I have seen these for sale two times, and i have always found them very beautiful, as they also reminds me of the Bandenkampfabzeichen.

    If anyone is interested I can probably source some. My friend in Slovakia says he sees them at auctions. The silver ones go for about Euro 200. I paid E150 for this one. I saw one for sale in USA for $400...
    They have the bronze ones as well, but not sure on the price of those.
