could some one advise me on this particular award?? how rare is it ? any known fakers etc etc reason i ask is i have seen one at a reasonable price and seems pretty cheep to me, martin

Hi Martin,
At best only a couple of prototypes were made. No original badge has surfaced, no proof of a badge being physically being awarded has been found. I think only a few awards were made on paper but that's as far as it went. I would save your money and consider it a postwar fantasy/fake.

hi , the general consensus seems to be that this award was never issued , think it was awarded on paper , i recall reading that fact at some stage. some alleged awards have surfaced but are not accepted as real. its safe to assume that any offered for sale are fakes/repro. cheers ...paul

thanks for taking the time to reply lads!! because i thought it was suaspious it was so rare,, i never bought anything from the guy in question!! so i bought some nice pieces from a guy who has ads on here, they should arrive in next few days. happy hunting, mart
