Unfortunately, impossible to tell, from this far away low res photo. Without a shot of the reverse side and at least a wee bit of visibility on the obverse, it could Be, but I Very much doubt it. If you can get the entire frame for cheap, it might be worth taking a flyer on, but investing decent money into the single award from this photo would definitely be out of the question, in my opinion.

Agree 100%. the lot is estimated at $700. Not pocket change by any means but approx representative of all the badges excluding this. If it goes for this amount (who knows in an auction) and the Bandenkamp is legit, it would be a steal.
But except for the gold wound badge, I really don't need the other awards, so I will err on the side of caution on this and pass.

Ya never know.. I purchased a S.S. Armband for a few hundred dollars with a "Iron Cross" thrown in... The cross was a "Uber' valued at almost $500.00.. A leap of faith..... The armband was authenticated here as well.by MAP
So overall I think I did well.. G
