I'm gonna say fake. The hinge, pin and hook don't look right and don't match any of the badges where there are two holes in the wriggly snakes bit.
It looks very polished or artificially aged at the front too.
But, as with other things, I've been proven to be incorrect
I am going also to say fake of a 2.3 type.
It clearly isn't even made of zinc either....
