Bandenkampfabzeichen in bronze, real?

Hey guys, a very good freind, collector/dealer who has collected and studied these badges is willing to part with this one. We have made an agreement on price. He told me that i could post this badge anywhere or show anyone and there would be no disputes on it's authenticity...so i am putting it to the test, lol.....he said the key is on the pin, next to the hinge assembly, there is a manufature defect/mark that this particular maker is known for.... this badge does have a period repair to the wreath, but i think it adds charecter!!!! Please let me know honest opinions....thanks guys! The pics are his that i have posted.

A fine original Bandenkampfabzeichen.Your friend is right with the key on the pin

.This cracks on the wreath are very often to see on this Juncker APB.On the other hand,a good sign for the originality.

Can you post please a good detailed pic of the catch?

Thanks Ade! I think I got a good deal or at least a fair one! The wait is killing me! ..... lol. ...I know things are worth what someone is willing to pay... but in your opinion, what is a fair price for this badge?

Well, i finally was able to pick up my APB @ Allentown !!!!!!!!! After having it in hand, I LOVE IT !!!!! It has a ton of character !!!!!Several small cracks, a little misshapen, a few small field repairs....whoever owned this badge wore it in the field! It is a Junker, and i believe it is a Silver class, not Bronze!!! I see traces of Silver gilt all over it, and a very tiny spot of Zinc pest.( I hope i can get rid of it easily, that i will need help with!) Here are the pics!

Hi Newbie,

the waiting have a end.Congrats to this badge!I think it is a good feeling for you,to hold it in your hands after the long waiting fo it.

I think also,that it have a good chance to be a silver grade.The cracks are often to see at late war Juncker badges.And very often at the Bandenkampfabzeichen type 1.Be careful with it!
