It looks O.K. to me, a tombak badge, but I'm not 100% sure on the catch, it might be a known variant. Best wait for Martin, Norm or Leon to take a looksy is probably best.

I seem to remember seeing this type of catch before on other Schwerin badges, so I'm leaning toward it being good as everything else appears O.K. to me, but I'm not 100% certain. The other guys will be along soon no doubt.

Yes, no problem with the catch. I call the type with the flat-based catch "Type 1.2" in contrast to "Type 1.1" which has the C-shaped catch.
