Fake, sorry.
What makes you think its a fake? I dont really know too much about them.
Cheers,
Adam
In many of the fakes, the statues appear to be nothing more than blobs of pot metal. The lions flanking the steps often look like pigs of solder and often have large metal daubs that pass for full manes. In the real Blood Order the lions and their manes are sleek. Likewise, the two stylized Regenbogen on the frieze above the portals each feature four almost microscopic architectual "points" that are amazingly discernible under a glass. They are not just blurry round balls of metal. And all entablature features are perfectly finished off in great detail in the real medal.
Note the serifs on top of the M in Munchen
Hi Adam,
Take a look at this link, it'll show all you need to know. In the case of your medal without going into details too much, the serifs on the top of the 'M' of Munchen are a big no-no. There are many other problems with it that are explained here:

Furthermore, it would be really helpful to all concerned if you took a look at getting your pic's correctly orientated, Check out this link by 'Richie C' for fixing that, it worked for me.

Finally, welcome to the forum, it's a great reservoir of knowledge and informed collectors specialised in their own field, use it and enjoy it!

Thanks guys for the info, out of interests are fakes worth anything and is there any point in holding on to it?
Ahhh thanks for the links, I couldn't figure out how to rotate them, it was bugging me.
Cheers for all the help,
Adam
Let's just say if you like fishing it makes a good sinker......
