I saw this lovely condition cased 1. Oktober 1938 medal up for sale yesterday and just had to have it! These are the sellers photo's, any comments welcome :-)
(I suppose now I need to start thinking about a Prague bar..... )
Cheers,

I looked at that one, not because I should buy it but it was so lovely
I don't have that medal yet but when I have some money over, I want a cased one like yours.
Well done and welcome to the forum
Hello and welcome to the forum!
A nice example to be sure! Thanks for posting.
Congrats!

mint condition lovely set.
Great condition!.....
Looks awesome in its case! Makes me feel sad, cause I got the medal without a case
Thanks for the kind comments! I don't have a particularly large budget for collecting, so my aim so far has been to go slowly and find some of the more common medals in mint or near-mint condition.
On a side note, does anyone have any pointers for determining ribbon originality without using the burn test? I'm aware that black light isn't 100% reliable, and just don't like the idea of taking a pair of scissors to any part of my collection!! (apologies if this should be a separate post)
It is an original ribbon don't worry.
Morris
