    Regarding the Cholm shield, besides the crappy lettering, the big giveaway is the talons on the boids feet. The central ones make it look like it has 'Hammer toes' as they are bent in when in fact they should be straight down on ALL original shields whether of the 'Long M' or 'Short M' variety.

    Thanks Guys, thats pretty much concludes German WWii items that i have.

    All accepted Lappland shields don't have a back plate due to them being made in POW camps. Where materials were at a premium. The example shown is a '57er at best IMO. Stewy
