Browsing as I do for interesting pieces for my collection I came across this ribbon bar.
Now do I see TWO Afrika ribbons?? In addition, the sequencing of the ribbons is curious is it not?

I would give this one a wide berth! Many problems as you have pointed out.
Cheers, Ade.

I think you are seeing double , it looks a mess! Leon.
And why is one of the African ribbons upside down?

Why indeed...
You should write to Winkler and ask him what he makes of it! lol

I have the answer, because he made it himself. Such is his M.O I've heard. I wouldn't buy anything from him, personally.
Add: I think what we have here is two medal bars added together post-war. I would bet they would split at the long service award. Makes logical sense, hints why one side is upside down, and if it were split in the middle, then flip the right portion up, the order would become accurate. Ratio being 4:3, of course. So not exactly in the middle.
My next question would be why a "established" dealer would make a rookie mistake? Could you post the description if time permits please. I'm curious to hear his explanation.
The seller's pitch simply stated "7 piece ribbon bar with two Afrika awards", as if having 2 of the same award was a good thing!
