Hi Hal...this is the Rare Zinc shield referred to in this Demjansk Thread https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/order...k-shield-2199/ but as I say not one I'm too comfortable with although that's just my opinion.

Hi Peter, thanks again for the reply. I acquired this shield from a vet. in Lansdale, Pa, many yrs. ago. pinned to a flag along with many other insignia. I'm not trying to authenticate anything, but just for your benefit, here are two pics of the shield on the flag.
