Question: Why is it marked 935 silver when all originals are marked 900 without exception as far as I know?? Another point, the eagles don't match any original I've ever seen. Can somebody show a confirmed genuine example that has the same two points I've raised???

But I know nothing about this awards so my post maybe can be thrown in the trashcan.
I'm no authority on these, but details are what I look for before commenting on anything, and as far as I can see here, the above award does not conform to originals in my opinion. But I'm quite happy to be proven wrong by those in the know!

Deutscher Adlerorden Verdienstkreuz II. Stufe Steckkreuz, 1. Modell 1937-1939. Silber vergoldet, rückseitig auf der Nadel gestempelt "935", an breiter Nadel. Eine seltene Variante.
What is your oppinions, some are still pesimistic of that....
