It stands a chance but from the pics, it's hard to say for sure. Can you get some good, close up shots of the medal? We will need to see the close details to give any kind of evaluation.

Hi,impossible to tell from these pictures but all i will say is that in my opinion it looks wrong, the examples of the "fan" suspender that i have seen don't have that" big ball and ring"set up, they have a small fixed ring at the top of the fan and a large flat ribbed loop attached for the ribbon to pass through.The case has the correct type of catch set up from what i can see.That said i have seen the military version with crossed swords with that suspension set up.Maybe,maybe not.
