deutsche kreuz in gold recipient found
I have been looking for a few years now for the recipient of a deutsche kreuz in gold .The medal was found at the crash site years ago but was never able to find any info in today
His name is dieter-Hans clemm Von Hohenberg

Been a long time coming, but the mystery is Solved! Great researching! Looks like the guy was actually Promoted to major and awarded the Ritter Cross Posthumously!

I'm very happy you found the DK's owneryou must be very elated, indeed. Great to put a face and name to an item as this. Are the others all from the same site and/or man? Is it possible to get some more images of the set? I'm sure we would all like to see these up close and straight on

Only the Deutsche kreuz in gold was found there and belong to him the rest of the medals were found in fleamarkets in germany .

Good research nice grouping of items on this pilot will display well.
It is very hard to put a face with a medal but you have done it.
Most of this medals the recipient have been lost to history
