I think it is easy to say,that it is a fake.Complete wrong imo.Maker mark 21??Also pin,rivets catch usw........

Thanks Kradmelder, I was kinder hoping it wasn't a fake, but I thought the red line was rather thick too..But lets see what everybody else has to say??? Cheers Terry.

I'm not well up on the finer details of these but the reverse setup is wrong and I believe there is some artificial aging to the wreath.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Cheers Adrian, the dealer had 5 up for sale, 4 have gone this is the last 1!!!!.. I would love for it to be the real deal, but it isn't looking good..boo hoo..It takes some searching to find these awards...& when I find one I get pretty excited....But I always post on here first just to make sure..Can anybody help me with the makers name????. '21' is the number for Godet.

Yes you are right of course Adrian.21 is Godet!Normaly i wright not to things,that are falling not in my own collecting field.I can only look into the book from Dietrich.I would it not buy.by Adrian
But here are guys in the forum,that have more knowing than me with this crosses.So my lips are closed....

It's trying to be a Godet 'Light' DKiS, but, as Joachim says, it's a fake. Obverse side, wreath is wrong, the laurel leaves are too coarse, and the silver sunburst is bad too. Reverse, wrong hinge, wrong pin and wrong rivets. Good luck to the guys who bought the other four.....

And wich dealer have 5 original DK i.S to offer.....so save the money and check only good things!
