Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen.

Article about: Purchased over weekend; complete with ribbon and envelope. Medal is not the copper/brass colored one; I always thought these were worn off finish but this one appears original finish.

Very Nice Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen (West Wall Medal) set.
Another set from Carl Poellath Schrobenhausen...

The medal (zinc) and packet are originals, but you need to check the ribbon with a UV "blacklight". My Car Poellath set have a fake ribbon.

Good looking set with what appears to be a zinc medal.

Agreed - a nice set. The finish has indeed 'worn off', as is usually
the case with zinc medals and badges.........

Default ribbon reviewed/compared to others I have

looked at ribbon with uv and it does appear to glow compared to another medal/ribbon I have - so how do these sets come to be with original medal and packet but a fake? ribbon?
The ribbon on the copper medal actually came with the zinc one next to it.
