You are welcome..
Normally no markings on the ring on Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen..they where mostly produced by Steinhauer und Lück ( the medal with the ribbon )
the medal without the ring ( Medaille "Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42" ) often had a makers mark in the ring...

You could very well be right.. when looking closer it lack details.. wait for a better one!
