    Hi Chaps.
I've been offered this Deutsche Kreuz in Gold, but as I know these particular awards have been heavily faked, and I have not got a clue about them, I thought I would ask you guys. Although this piece shows some really nice patina, and a shame about the damage to the Hakenkreuz, I am not too convinced with the hardware to the reverse.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Mark,

The cross is a perfectly good Juncker 5 rivet 2nd model 'Heavy' type that is unmarked. The rear set up is correct and the 'shelling' of the enamel on the cross is absolutely typical of most Juncker DK's, more so than any other maker. Value is what you are happy to pay.

    Regards, Ned.
