Have any of you heard of a Blut Orden selling for such a high price?

Also, I notice that the numbering on the medal at Hannah's Reich looks different than mine. On theirs, the silver content number appears above the serial number while mine is the reverse. Also, the serial number on their medal is much larger than mine. I actually like the finer appearance on my medal better.

Their serial number is lower (529) than mine (876). Might they have changed the arrangement over time?

Best regards and thanks for all the help,

    Pat

That price is not unreasonable. You should have no problem selling it for about that price to a serious collector. If I may say sir, you've hit the "jackpot".

These medals were hand stamped and sometimes you see the silver content above the serial number which is not an issue.

Good thing, that they numbered these as opposed to the RK.

I was surprised to learn, that in the TR the 'Coburger Abzeichen' ranked higher than the Blut Orden.

As with anything hand stamped there will be differences in placement of such stamps. This applies across the board, not just with these awards.
