    Take note of the catch. This type, a circle of metal with a slot cut out and lifted to form the catch is never found on original badges. Any badge found with this type of catch should be regarded as fake and typical of post war Souval creations.

    'Tot' is the correct German spelling for 'Dead'.

    'Todt' in English is 'Todd' I believe.........
