DRK Medal: Opinions?

Hello All,

Here's a piece I saw recently... I would love to add one of these to my DRK collection. I believe these are faked though and I cannot find a comparative example at the moment. I would greatly value some opinions on this medal & ribbon from those more knowledgeable in this area than myself.

i dont like the design of the eagle,,,looks cartoonish to me

Adam there is a couple of good original on the forum for you to look at.
But I will have to say fake on yours

Thanks for the opinions so far guys... I will have to search the forum here for some other examples. Robert, I had a similar feeling about the look of the eagle, however it wouldn't be the first time we've seen bizarre, caricature type eagles on TR stuff.

Anyone else have thoughts on the above piece?

Gentlemen,

I have consulted with a friend who specializes in DRK and this medal is in fact a FAKE. I really wasn't able to find other examples and so perhaps this can serve as an example of a bad one.
