I need to get back to the gun show circuit. You can really find some nice pieces, and some junk repros if you're not careful. This looks like a nice piece.
Nice DRL badge. It has such nice deep toning that I wonder
if it's not a very worn silver grade badge......... ! ?
Regards,
Steve.
This was my first badge I bought as a kid in Germany.
I got it for 5 marks

Thanks for all kind words !!! I am sure it is a Bronze class. The gentlemen had a silver right next to it......i wanted both, but other purchases were in my mind, lol !!!!
Both would have been nice, but take what you can get.
@ helmetone, yeah.... i also purchased a Handschar collar tab, SS/HJ diamond patch....plus i have a really nice Luft belt and buckle coming from a friend of mine in the Pittsburgh area....... not a bad weekend, lol! I will post pics of the Luft belt when it arrives in the buckles section.
Hey you are doing well !
I really like the DRL badges , I have always admired them. Nice find

Yep, you did very well for one weekend. I'm getting the gun show itch. I have to start checking for some in the Baltimore area. They can be hit or miss sometimes. There in a show in York, PA, called the Tri-County Knife and Gun Show. They usually have one or two dealers. One dealer is pretty consistent as he lives just west of York. I have gotten several very nice items from him. One or two other dealer are there but not with a lot of things. Another dealer had a ton of items, some of which I believe to be fake (but that's my amateur opinion). The items he does have that are good are usually WAY over prices by at least several hundred. That might explain why he has the same items year after year.
