Ehrenkreuz der Deutsche Mutter Erste Stufe?

Article about: Hi guys, I'm wondering if the back of this Mother's Cross is fine. It looks a little odd to me. The picture is blurry (not mine), but I assume it's the best I can get. Thanks, John Annoyed f

Hello, Im concerned that this one may match the fake type that I have an example of. I have photographed it in high res for you, to show the difference with an original. However, with a poor quality photograph like this its impossible to be sure.
It would appear I have the same copy that you have! The differences are rather obvious after seeing the two compared. I tried telling the authenticity based on the tiny, blurry inscription on the back, when all I had to do was look at the misshapen gold rays on the front!

Apparently it had survived a flood, which would explain why the ribbon looks aged. I paid a little more than repro price hoping for a real one, but I figure after taking the neat display frame into account, I didn't do that bad!

    Thanks for the help again,
    John
