    Can you see any design under the blue enamel?
    Many good threads on these awards in the forums, and in those you will find many good photos to compare yours with.

    I see it there. A little light helps bring it out.

    Here is my example. Yours looks like a nice original.

    I used a little light and...the pebble design below the blue glass enamel brings out.

    IMO it's a original mother cross.

    Hello, a bit late to the party.
    It is indeed a genuine bronze cross and may I add in very good condition.
    I like those chocolate brown crosses they always seem to hold their finish well.

    I see the tip of a silver in one of your pictures...Do you have any of the envelopes for them?

    Doug,

    The multitple cross image in post #4 is of my bronze and gold.
    I don't have any envelopes, but did post a picture for you of the inside lid of the case the crosses are on in that picture. It was in a thread I started some time ago.
    How is your research coming?
