First certificate named to next of kin (i assume) I've seen.

The document is the award certificate and translates as:
"In the name of the Führer and Reichs Chancellor
In commemoration of the World War 1914/1918 and based on the decree of 13 July 1934,
Maria Ganser, farmer and innkeeper, Gerichtstetten*
has been decorated with the
Honor Cross for Widows
instituted by Reichs President Generalfeldmarschall von Hindenburg.

*) Gerichtstetten is a rural component locality forming part of the town of Hardheim in Baden-Württemberg
**) = "i.O." = "im Odenwald"; the Odenwald is is a low mountain range stretching into parts of Hesse, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg
***) Landrat = a district's chief executive
