    [QUOTE=Vernichtung;1365359]hallo guys,

    "the seller told me he found it in the ground".

    ....And then proceeded to solder on a random catch and grind/hammer the details of the oak leaf wreath leaving them flat. I doubt that this is even real, but the pic's are too crap to be sure. The eagle is poor and looks clumsy and lacking detail, it could be an unmarked Brehmer that's lost it's N/S top cover perhaps, but I wouldn't have this badge if it was given to me I'm afraid.

    How much is he asking for it?

    Regards, Ned.

    thanks,

    the pictures are crap indeed, i also noticed that it was put back on. pretty obvious i guess, the ''wear'' on the oak leaf are not dirty like the rest.

    he wants something between 80 and 100 euro.

    thanks, for the info. Ill try too look out for the good detail.

    That's 80-100 Euro's for something that's virtually worthless IMO, he knows the score.

    Hi, I'm with the fella's on this one, it is a very poor fake in my opinion. The Adler looks as though it has been moulded from porridge, there is no shape, definition or detail to it at all, probably the worst of it's type I have ever seen. The wreath I suspect was hammered/filed down as it came out of the mould as sharp as a knife on the points of the oak leaves. Leon.
