Hi guys,

This badge has arrived yesterday. I am not so sure does these pictures do any justice to it, but this is one astonishing example. I have never seen any better than this. Condition is absolutely superb, amazing piece. I figured out that I like the most Osang erdkampf example along with this from Hammer&Sohne and one from Juncker. So I have to find now Osang and Juncker specimens of this badge. I hope that I will soon do that.

It appears that the silver frosting has worn off of the eagle on yours as well.

Thank you Ralph. Your example is lovely as well. Strangely this badge is actually in absolutely unworn condition and yet it has no silver finish on the wreath or that silver frosting on the eagle. But there are really no traces of wear on this piece at all. Here is link of one discussion about this badge regarding that subject:

That's a fine looking badge Franko.
I don't collect these (yet) as I'm concentrating on KM badges but maybe in future.
I'm sure Michael will be salivating over both these badges!

Thank you Nick. It is indeed wonderful erdkampf badge and its very hard to resist to these beauties. In my opinion this is the best looking Third Reich combat award.
