    Default Fallschirmschützenabzeichen legit?

    Hello all,

Wreath and some other details look a bit skeptic and wanted to get a second opinion, a clunker here?

In my opinion, it's fake, I don't like the eagle especially, a high-quality repro though.

I'd wait for a second opinion, it can be so hard to tell with badges.

The wreath looks a little too chunky than I would be comfortable with and the filled in sections between the arms of the swastika don't fill me with confidence. Hopefully Joe will comment.

It May have a chance as an unmarked, but I'm not liking the catch and definitely not the unfiled swastika.

The unfilled swaz is a bit of a mystery. I have never seen one without an unfilled swaz like this. Attention to detail was into great consideration for the para badges. The wide C style catch I have seen before on some G.H. Osangs.

    Hi guys,

i can only give yet a answer, because i was in the hollidays with my family.

The eagle is based on a Juncker para design. But the eagle have no handmade finish. Please look at the swas, there is in parts no cut out. Also the wreath have no handmade finish. The wreath is looking to be based on a Assmann wreath. The combination Juncker eagle and Assmann wreath is a bad combination.

Also the rivets are looking bad.So all in all a badge William, that i would not buy.Fantasy badge imo....

    Regards
    Joe

I see what you are saying Joe. The wreath does look like my Assman paras wreath? Would a die change be responsible for this? Companies dies would wear out , and need to be replaced. Could Juncker have gotten dies from the same company Assman dealt with? This may sound far fetched.

A Juncker and Assmann union is a bad sign as Joe mentions. The badge is a fake and no amount of perhaps' can change it unfortunately.
