I'd be interested to hear what others think about the flat topped brass rivets as I've not seen those type on a CupAl (S&L??) Luft Para badge before that I can recall. I wonder if they've been replaced at some point as the rear of the wreath seems to have been drilled through from the obverse side and left a burr in each case on the reverse. It could of course be a variation I'm not familiar with, and am way out so best wait to see what Joe and some of the other guys think.
Regards, Ned.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

Hi, I to think that this is a Steinhauer and luck type award looking at the Adler and the catch. I am concerned about the gold finish as well as the rivets Ned has pointed out. The finish from the side on shot appears to have been "painted on" after the award was put together as the edge is not gilded all along it's length? Personally I have serious doubts about this being a good piece. Leon.
Yes guys, this is an S&L badge with an Cupal eagle. Riveting is similar to the 1957 badges and shoult be factory made so imo (sloppy done). A badge made afte the war imo and i think it is listed in Tom Durantes book also as post war.
