I thought I would show my favorite medal bar from 2012, I as a side line to my Ost front collecting have an expanding group of medal bars featuring the Ost medal. This is the first with a 1st world war EK2 as part of the group and a combination that I have been looking for for some time.

    best wishes

Thanks for your reply Nick, I just wish at times that it was possible to research WW2 TR medal bars, Im sure this chap would have a tale to tell.

Happy new year and I hope the water has receded with you in York,

    best wishes

Very nice as well, I really like the WW1 EK's. This must really compliment your collection. Do you display them or are they kept under the bed ?

I'm in a similar position, although Mrs M doesn't mind too much her 82 yr old German mother would have a flying fit if she walked in and saw the TR stuff despite it being nicely balanced with a heap of WW2 soviet bits.
