Flakkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe-flak badge - Good?

Article about: Hello Guys, These are the sellers photos and are quite small. I would appreciate any opinions as to originality and possible maker? Thank you, Bob

    Nice. There were two dies used over the production period of this badge, but the differences are slight and it wasn't possible for me to tell with the original blurred, poorly lit pic's. Looking at the quality new photo's it can be seen to be a type 1 die badge.

    Thanks Ned! Would you think this is nickel silver or tombak? I don't see any traces of brass color coming through the badge at any wear areas which are few. Regards, Bob

    Hi Bob,

    There's very little weight difference between N/S and tombak, especially when your looking at such a small amount of 35-40g. If you cant see any sign of brass then I'd say it's N/S.
