    Default Flakkampfabzeichen - Nickle Silver Ball Hinge Gablonz

    My new Nickel Silver Luft Flak award arrived in the mail today. Really a great example in near mint condition. Weight is approx. 38 grams. Unique scoop on the reverse.

    Background:

    Maker of these "ball hinge" variants is still unknown but they are considered to be produced from the Gablonz region based on the hardware set up. At the present moment it is only suspected that they were made by Adolf Scholtz (AS), but no definitive proof exists.

    Very nice Michael!
    If I read Thomas Durante's post correctly, the zinc version of this badge is harder to come by than the NS variant.
