Need discernible images. Would like to opine, but cannot due to the poor quality of your pictures. I have my KM reference books on my desk...but they are useless at this point

Nope! Not a good one IMHO. Maybe Martin or Norm will be around to confirm or shoot me down. A number of things I don't like (besides the poor photos)
I am aware of one variant of the RS maker. Norm with his list might have cataloged more but I don't have his list so I can only compare to what I know.
Here are just a few things....
- Pin end appears to be clipped instead of pointed.
- The artillery barrels (lower left and right) should not connect to the wreath.
- The award should be zinc. The base metal on this is of a bronze type color.
- The upper booms (below the Swaz) are too close to the lower and larger booms
- Reverse cutouts do not match at all
- Hard to see but Maker Mark appears to be slightly off
Once again. Just comparing to the one variant that I am aware that exists. If there are others, happy for people to chime in.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
"Don't tell me these are investments if you never intend to sell anything" (Quote: Wife)

I agree with Michael.
I'm also pretty sure that this style of hinge was never used on these awards.
Ralph.

There are a couple of variants to the "wartime complatible" Souval Fleet badge.
One variant can be found with a wide pin and another variant can be found with a "?" type catch
The badge above is not one of those variants and I have to think that it is a postwar piece by Souval.
The reverse hardware and the overall finish do not look "wartime compatible" to me, along with other points mentioned above.
Cheers,Martin.
