Greetings, I have offered this Flottenkriegsabzeichen plate, the seller says it is original and is in Buntmetall, whose opinions do you have?

I think that this is the "4-Bridge Window Fake". You can start by looking at the makers mark (it's too uniform). I also think I see some casting evidence on the front of the badge...but better photos would be needed to be 100% sure. The pin also looks close but not quite right. You'll notice that the pin on your pictured badge does not taper 'up' at the end...these Schwerin produced pins seem to always taper 'up' at the end. The hinge pin is also close...but not quite right for this period of Schwerin HSF badge.
Here is my Schwerin for comparison. You'll notice the difference in crispness compared to your pictured badge. My badge is a genuine "mid" production tomback badge with a 'weak' 5th window.

Thank you very much everyone for your comments are helpful and make this hobby is much safer.
Note also the uniform lettering, it is too even. On original badges the letters are uneven, compare to Chrys' badge. The 'B' and 'L' in Berlin sit a bit lower than the rest of the letters.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
He posted this on the WAF as well and it was blasted out of the water there also...pardon the pun!
thanks, THANKS!!!!!!!
Hello all,
I can only agree that the badge posted is a reproduction.
