Hi all,

I am seriously thinking about buying this Flottenkriegsabzeichen. I looks good to me but never sure I prefer to ask for confirmation. Sorry I know pictures could be better but hopefully they are good enough for a statement.

Pictures are very smalls, but everything looks pretty standard with this badge, IMO
Textbook SCHWERIN.

I agree - I think this badge looks good. Here is mine to compare:
Flotten-Kriegsabzeichen - High Seas Fleet Badge

Note some key features - the slightly irregular letters on the maker stamp, for example the N in BERLIN is higher than the I.
From the obverse, the right stumpy antenna at a slight angle.
And quite a few more.

I paid a similar price for mine.

Haaaaa!

about a week ago i finally had this beloved moment when you receive your packet from Germany, you open it and finally have in hand the long time desired award and feel it is more beautiful than what you have expected.

What I like to do as well is to put it close to relative items so I can compare the conditions… This one looks good ;-).

The HSF badge is definitely one of the nicest badges and yours is a stunner. You are 1 ahead of me Pierre - i have exactly the same set as you except for the Coastal Artillery badge. Mine are also lined up on the same plastic stands.
I intend to complete the set when i can - no rush though, the other badges will come in time. I will then place them in to a display case with my a nice Kriegsmarine BeVo cloth badge i have.
